Sleep Please
So Ana has slept through the entire night for the past 2 nights. It's like a light switch flipped on Wednesday and now she's sleeping. She's only waking to grunt and groan and for about 3-5 minutes around 2:00am and 4:00am, but then she goes back to sleep.
What do I do when she starts grunting and groaning? I get up out of bed, stand over her cradle and see if she's going to start crying. She doesn't cry, and I look like a creapy person watching a baby sleep. I'm sure I'd scare her to death if she awoke and looked up at me. I'm such a light sleeper that any noise wakes me up. So, while she's sleeping 8-10 hours, I'm sleeping 4-5 still, what the hell!! I'm going to have to start sleeping with ear plugs or something.
She's been sleeping on and off in her crib, which would probably allow me to sleep a little better, because I could turn the baby monitor way down and just hear when she cries. But, she doesn't sleep as well in the crib, so IDK.
I'd say better living through chemicals and take something to help me sleep, but what if I don't or make her a funky bottle in the middle of the night? I guess that would teach her.
Eh, it will be better soon, I just know it. I'm going to start having her sleep more in her crib and see if that will help me sleep. And a little chamomile tea for me before bedtime.
Sweet Dreams...
