1 month
Ana's 1 month old. WOW!!
Things we know about her so far:
She still sleeps better during the day, but hopefully that will get better soon. She will sleep 6 hours during the day, but at night only 2-3 1/2 hours at a time. I think the lack of sleep helps you forget the lack of sleep when you are ready to have another baby. I really don't remember being up with Aiden like this, but I'm sure I was.
Last night she went to sleep at 11:30, woke up at 1:30 and then didn't go back to sleep until 3:30 :) Robert and I took turns passing her back and forth trying to get her to stop fussing and go back to sleep. Then, she slept until 7:00 and was fussy again, I think it's because of her congestion. I don't sleep well when I can't breath.
Robert and I are really amazed at how we can function and don't feel the effects of 4 hours of sleep, but I'm sure it will catch up to us soon. I'm pretty sure that's why I couldn't sleep but 2-3 hours at a time the last month of Ana's pregnancy, that got us in the swing of things :) It will all be better soon, I'm sure (or I hope, hehe)
Things we know about her so far:
- She doesn't like pacis like Aiden did, she looks at you like you're crazy when you give it to her.
- She gets pretty rowdy at night, maybe she's a party girl and just telling us she wants to go to the club. :)
- She LOVES baths
- She LOVES being naked (just like Aiden)
- She looks just like Aiden did when he was this young
- She's going to have brown eyes. That way we can sing "My Brown-eyed Girl" to her.
