From BabyCenter.com:

How your baby's growing:

By this week, your baby weighs two and a quarter pounds (like a Chinese cabbage) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With her eyesight developing, she may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. She's also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.

From Sarah:

Well, I was doing great and this morning am feeling better again.

We went to the ER last night, because I was having some severe upper abdomen pain that radiated to my upper back. I got pretty scared and started crying, so we called the doctor, and Dr. S's nurse/wife told me to go to the ER. The ER sent us to Labor and Delivery to check out everything from the pregnancy side of things. We spent 2 hours in L&D and result - Ana was great, no contractions, no problems pregnancy side...So, back to the ER. The ER did labwork and we just hung out. The pain subsided a little while in L&D and I thought I was being silly and having bad indigestion, but back in the ER it got even worse. I don't think that I've ever been in that much pain, well not that I can remember. With Aiden's pregnancy I had a couple of hours of contractions before the epidural but it wasn't as bad as the pain last night.

While waiting on the labwork they gave me Morphine and 2-3 stomach medications, which made everything MUCH better. My labwork came back fine and not much could be told from it. They think I have gallstones, inflamed gall bladder, ulcer, or severe indigestion. Today, I'm supposed to drink a clear liquid diet, not quite sure how that's going to go, I'm already starving. We got home around 3:30am, Robert was exhausted and I had to read for about 45 minutes before I got tired.

I see Dr. S on Friday and hopefully we can figure out more of what's going on. They are providing breakfast for me on Friday, not really, I don't get to eat and have a glucose test, so they provide the sugary drink.

So, hopefully, with no more spaghetti eating, no fried food, and no spicy, it will be ok. I guess we will see. I'll let you know!
