How your baby's growing:

Your baby has really plumped up. She weighs about 6.8 pounds and she's over 19 1/2 inches long (like a leek). She has a firm grasp, which you'll soon be able to test when you hold her hand for the first time! Her organs have matured and are ready for life outside the womb.

Wondering what color your baby's eyes will be? You may not be able to tell right away. If she's born with brown eyes, they'll likely stay brown. If she's born with steel gray or dark blue eyes, they may stay gray or blue or turn green, hazel, or brown by the time she's 9 months old. That's because a child's irises (the colored part of the eye) may gain more pigment in the months after she's born, but they usually won't get "lighter" or more blue. (Green, hazel, and brown eyes have more pigment than gray or blue eyes.)

From Sarah:

I'M READY!!!! LOL. Really, I'm feeling pretty good, just a lot of pain in my pelvis (I know you wanted to know that) after sitting and laying. Walking takes a little bit of time after I've been sitting or laying down, but after about 5-10 minutes of walking the pain starts to go away! But, then walking makes me really tired so I can't do that for very long either. :)

But, I'm doing GREAT! I'm still working and everyday I finish up to the point of were if I left for the day and didn't come back tomorrow my boss just has to pick up from where I left and not finish anything I started. It's really just taking care of my patients while I'm gone that is the important part of my job, the rest could really sit here for a month and then I could pick back up where I stopped.

The plan is for me to be off a full month and then come back working 1-2 half days a week in the office (mainly to see my patients and get work to take home). Then, I'll work from home as much as I possibly can. Aiden will be in school, so that will help ALOT!!

I keep having dreams about my water breaking and rushing to the hospital, or being in the hospital to have her and just laying there hearing the monitors and such. Then, I wake up and yep, still laying in my bed, no water breaking, no hospital monitors, but all in due time! There's a full moon on Friday and it is supposed to rain Thursday and Friday, so all that gravitational pull might just pull her out of there.

We can't wait to see her! Everyone is super excited. I think Robert's about as ready for her to be here as I am. Robert was playing with Aiden's hair yesterday and telling him, "Let me see what a girl will look like" Aiden kept sticking his tongue out at him.
Everything's pretty much ready for her to be here. I thought of a few more things that might be in the attic that we will need (I'm sure my brother will be thrilled to hear that, hehe).

We had a baby shower this weekend (more to come on that) and received soooo many cute things and LOTS of Diapers, woo hoo! :) We are truly blessed to have great people in our lives who care for us and our kiddos. I believe that it truly takes a village to raise a child and we have the best village if you ask me!
