What a busy life...
It seems as though all I blog about is how busy our lives are at the moment. However, as I look back at the 11 years and 4 months Sarah and I have been together, it has always been busy! I can't think of a time where we didn't have a calendar full of events to go to or someone to hang out with. My life is just a busy mess and I'm just longing for the day when we can just do 1 or 2 things a month :)....probably will never happen but a guy can hope.
JOB
My job has made me super mobile and now I am working full time from HOME! I have made some rearranging of furniture in our office, and have some plans on how I want to arrange and purchase new furniture but for right now I have a make shift desk to work on. I will probably continue to travel but it will be very light, once-a-month or so. With the whole "Go Green" type initiatives, our agency has decided to be at the forefront of this initiative and so by 2010 50% of our workforce should be able to work at home at least once a pay period if not more. So I'll be at home full time workin, yeah.
SCHOOL
School is coming to an end for the semester and I cannot wait. With all the traveling for work all semester I've been trying to play catch-up. I should be caught up by Wednesday and hopefully finished with the courses in a week or so. I'm not going to take an courses over the summer, because CAMP ROSALES is going to be on July 11-13 this year, so I think it best not to take a course this semester. The downfall it puts my graduation date back another semester so now I'm looking at Spring 2010. WOW that seems far but it really is not.
FATHERHOOD
What can I say, I absolutely love it! Aiden is such a blessing everyday and I love seeing his little smiling face every morning and getting hugs from him and kiss...he is becoming quite the little affectionate boy. Last week Sarah and I decided to begin walking every day after dinner and of course we bring little man with us, but he doesn't really like sitting in a stroller for more than 30 minutes so it becomes a game of entertaining Aiden while we rush to finish our walk. We want to be heathly but with our busy lifestyle it just seems difficult to accomplish.
Sarah said that I needed to learn more patience and Aiden is definitely helping me in that area. You really can't discipline the little guy yet because he really doesn't understand. However, he knows when to push buttons to turn things off/on and when you ask him to pick things up and bring them to you, so he is starting to get comprehend a little better. I really am excited for the day when he beings to speak completely and can begin to express his own thoughts, feelings and ideas.
Well i think I've just about summed up my chaotic life since the last time I blogged so keep coming to see monkey-man and hope everyone is doing well.
Love ya'll
Robert
