35 Weeks

How your baby's growing:

Your baby doesn't have much room to maneuver now that she's over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds (pick up a honeydew melon). Because it's so snug in your womb, she isn't likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times she kicks should remain about the same. Her kidneys are fully developed now, and her liver can process some waste products. Most of her basic physical development is now complete — she'll spend the next few weeks putting on weight.

From Sarah:

Spend the next few weeks putting on weight... What's with that... :) And she's still trying to do somersaults, but not very successfully.

Not much to talk about, everything's going great right now! That's a good thing!

We still haven't gotten the baby stuff down out of the attic, but still have a couple of weeks for that. I had a dream the other night that I woke up and was in labor. From the hospital I called someone and asked them to get the stuff out of the attic and to make me a bag of stuff, because I hadn't packed a bag to take to the hospital and just ran out the door. :) Guess I'm kinda worried about going into labor early and not having everything ready. But, not so worried that I'm packing a bag and nagging Robert to get into the attic. He'll be out next week, so I guess it will be the week after that before the baby stuff comes down, I'll probably start packing a bag this weekend, just in case.

Work has scheduled a baby shower for me. I got to pick the place to have it. There are only 9 employees so I picked Campania's Pizza. It's a yummy place that is quiet and close to work.

Then, my church family and family are planning a baby shower for us for the 29th. Fun Times! It sounds like it will be a come and go kinda shower, no games :), that makes me happy and Robert will be there to be the social butterfly, so I can sit back and be the prego. FUN!!

Currently, that's about all that's going on in the prego world for us. Just a waiting game.
