Vocab and School

Tuesday night something clicked with Aiden. Maybe Lisa and I just noticed his speech more or something, but really. It was as if all of the sudden he could speak clearly and we could understand every word and SENTENCES that came out of his mouth. I can't remember exactly what he said, but I remember Lisa and I looking at each other in amazement. He's growing up WAY to fast!

His vocabulary is really going to kick off here soon. He starts an early preschool program 3 days a week on September 2nd. I'm so excited for him!! His friends Rosie and Paul will be going to the same school, too. Rosie will be in his class with him and Paul will be in preschool.

We even got to do some school supplies shopping over the past couple of weeks. I LOVE SCHOOL SUPPLIES!! I know, I'm a nerd, but really I love school supplies.

So, starting September 2nd he'll be in school 3 days a week! We've really tried to integrate things into his life slowly, like switching beds (from the toddler bed to his twin size bed, so that we could make the toddler bed into a crib for Ana), decorating the room, adding in Ana's clothes and bedding, and now school a couple of weeks before she's here. Just so it's not a huge shock. I couldn't imagine having a new baby sister, new bed, new school, redecorated room all in a matter of a week or month. He probably wouldn't have cared, but we didn't want it to completely Rock his World.

Then, once Ana is here and Robert and I have to head back to work the plan is to have him in early preschool 5 days a week. Gradual changes. :)

I'm interested in if Robert thinks he sounds clearer. He's been in Kansas City for a week, so he'll have a better opinion, it's probably just my imagination, but HEY, Lisa heard it too!!
