Planet Earth

Last night we got home and intended to watch Sex in the City. My girlfriends and I watched it together in the theaters, but Robert and Brandon hadn't seen it yet. I used to make Robert watch the episodes with me! So, he was curious about the movie.

Instead we got home and Planet Earth was on TV. I have to tell you that I have seen Planet Earth before. I even recorded all the sections of it on our bedroom TV. Now we have HD in the living room and WOW! I don't even know what words to use.

So, if you haven't seen Planet Earth we definitely recommend it. We watched Martin last night and he and Aiden laid on the floor and watched it. When his mom came to come and get him she said we didn't have to show him educational videos. I told her it was more for us then him!! We laid on the couch for hours watching several sections. I can watch it over and over again. The things/animal life that they caught on tape. It took them over 5 years to collect all of the footage, and all I can say is AMAZING!

Then Robert was googling stuff on Earth and found this chart of how large Earth really is, or more like how big the Earth isn't! Wow!

Earth is the on the first row last planet and then second row first planet. So, that was your Science lesson for today!
