Our Crazy Weekend

Friday night Lisa came over to help me with all the stuff I had to get done for Saturday and Sunday! We got everything done!! Thanks Lisa!!

Saturday we woke up extra early to go to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Picture below! It was chilly outside but after we started walking we started warming up. All together it was Gran, Pawpaw, JN, Nini, Patpat, Parker, Lisa, Dianne, Aiden and me. Elsewhere in the race there were another 20 or so people we knew. We finished in 1 hour and 36 minutes. That's an average of 32 minute miles! LOL That's good for having a toddler walk every once in a while and all the stops we made along the way.

Grumpy b/c we made him stay in his wagon. But with 1000s of people around there was no other option.

1000s of people in front of us before the race started.

Walking down Belknap toward the Pier One building.

We finished and went to eat at Ol' South Pancake House. I thought I would fall asleep right there at the table. :) We had a great breakfast/brunch and then headed home for naps!

Aiden and I slept for 2 & 1/2 hours and then I was still very tired and he was bouncing off the walls. So, we went to the mall. I called Gran and Pawpaw to see if they would come and eat dinner with us, because I was really too tired to keep up with Aiden by myself. Aiden played at the mall for over an hour and then we walked around for a while.

We decided on PF Changs for dinner. We were all in lovely dress up clothes (T-shirts and shorts, b/c we were so warn out) while everyone else at PF Changs was dressed up. It was pretty funny.

Aiden practiced his chop sticks skills more and was getting pretty good at it.

That was Saturday, I'll tell you more about Sunday this afternoon or tomorrow.

Good job at finishing the race. You probably couldn't have done it any faster with all those people in front of you. Good job with the chopsticks little man :) Miss you and love you.
